The St. Patrick's Association of Shamrock has officially opened the 2008 St. Patrick's Day Celebration theme competition to all entries. The lucky winner will receive a $50.00 U.S. Savings Bond, compliments of the bank that aided David Rushing's thefts from local businesses: Nation Bank of Commerce, headquartered in Wapauca, Wisconsin.
We would like to encourage ALL interested parties - no matter where you are - to enter the competition and, by all means, BE CREATIVE! There must be several thousand viable theme options for use in promoting a town that allows it's officials to (literally) rob businesses blind and even at gunpoint while retaining their positions in office!
Anyone who would like to participate by entering a theme idea for the 62nd annual "celebration of crime" in the texAss panhandle, should make an form and submit it to Connie Wilson at the Shamerock Chamber of Commerce office.
